Pune based 3D animation company Toon Geeks is producing three animation films, of which the first one will be ready in February 2009.

Speaking to AnimationXpress.com, Took Geeks CEO Rohit Shinde said, "Initially we were thinking of following a 2D animation pipeline, but looking at the market demand we prepared a 3D production pipeline instead."

Lifemode Interactive is well known for its LIFESTUDIO:HEAD technology offering effective production pipelines for 3D head modeling, facial animation, and automated lip-sync - up to API for real-time applications. Toon Geeks started using LIFESTUDIO:HEAD and LIFESTUDIO:LIPSYNC two years ago, and acquired more LIFESTUDIO:LIPSYNC licensies in 2008.

LIFESTUDIO:HEAD Import-Export and Muscles Setup plug-ins are updated for the current version of Autodesk Maya. Lifemode now supports Maya versions starting from Maya 6.5 upto Maya 2009.

Since 2004, Chris Hayes has been using LIFESTUDIO:HEAD technology developed by Lifemode Interactive for facial modeling and animation in his videos - beginning with "The Nightly Potato Episode 1" released in 2005 up to the todays "The Nightly Potato - Ep. 7 - Hail Mary".
